Park at Old Bewick and follow the track past the cottages and the farm towards Blaewearie. After a couple of hundred metres cross the fence on the right by a stile, and head diagonally up the hill towards the pine trees and the rock beyond.
 
General:
In mediaeval times activity here was roped, but nowadays this is a bouldering venue. The rock is situated on top of the hill overlooking Old Bewick, on Bewick moor and consists of top notch Fell Sandstone. Of interest on top of the hill are a Celtic Iron Age hill fort and some cup and ring markings.

Problems:
There are 6 quality problems. Some landings are a bit hairy chested, so once you start a problem it's a good idea to finish it or you may end up stotting down the hill.
