The blunt rib at the right end of the north face is climbed until a move left leads to the top. Interesting but unprotected. 2 Plymouth Hoe 7m S **
The fine crack to the left. 3 Garden Hoe 7m HS
Climb the slab about 2 metres left of Plymouth Hoe. 4 Tourist Route 7m M
The obvious chipped steps provide the easiest way up and down. 5 Cape Horn 11m VS 4c
The slabs on the east side are climbed trending left to finish up the ar?. Unprotected. 6 Powder Monkey 9m E4 5c
Start at the right hand side of the south face 2 metres right of Rhumba. Move up rightwards then back left, climb the wall on widely spaced holds to a thin hanging flake and a delicate finish. Interesting and bold. 7 Rhumba 9m E4 5c
Start at the base of a rightwards trending undercut feature 3 metres right of 'Sir Francis'. Step up, and trend slightly left to the first horizontal break, then straight up to good holds in a less prominent break 2 metres higher. Move up and right with difficulty to the top. Scary. 8 Lubbers' Hole 15m S *
Climb the thin crack in the middle of the S south face (Sir Francis) until the first horizontal break is reached and a traverse left to the groove of The Golden Hind can be made. Climb this to the next break. Traverse left round the overhanging ar? then climb more easily to the top. 9 Sir Francis 9m E3 5c *
A superb and bold climb up the obvious thin crack in the centre of the south face. Jibber more or less up the wall above trending slightly right towards a small flake at the top. 10 The Golden Hind 12m VS 5a
Start at the left end of the south side and climb into a groove at 3 metres. Climb this to a slab which provides an interesting finish. 11 Hispaniola 11m HVS 5a
Climb the left ar? of the south face to a horizontal crack and continue directly up the wall. 12 The Pelican 9m E1 5b *
The obvious line on the west face is difficult and strenuous to start. The rest is easier . A pumpy but satisfying route. 13 Sol Pelicanos E2 5b
Start at the ar? of Good Hope (1314). Traverse right along the obvious lower break for 3metres. Then make strenuous moves to climb straight up to gain an obvious curving flake and crack. Finish direct. 14 Good Hope 8m HVS 5b **
The left ar? of the west face. Awkward and unprotected. 15 Rhumb E1 5c
A traverse of the obvious horizontal break |
