Northumbrian Climbing Guide

Start at the foot of a buttress 18m left of an obvious trianguar block below the scree. Climb the corner to reach a sloping ledge beneath sinuous cracks. gain the sloping niche above, move right to a crack in a pinnacle and climb this to its top. Step right to a huge flake and work back left to good holds on the face. Finish up cracks in the arete in a fine position.

On the prominent buttress at the right(west) end of the crag. Start at the lowest point. A few easy moves lead to the foot of a crack which is climbed to a ledge. Traverse right to the foot of a second crack which is climbed to another ledge. A wide crack above is then climbed to a small ledge on the right. Step left and finish straight up.
