From Wooler, take the minor road to Middleton Hall where the road to Langlee is followed along the Harthope Valley to the car park after Langlee Farm. A footbridge over the burn leads to the track up to the ridge.
Housey crags and their neighbour, Langlee crags, are small volcanic plugs on the ridge on the south side of the Harthope Burn in the Cheviot Hills. There are several short obvious routes, but the crag is not worth a special visit. It's worth taking boots along if you are already in the area.
Andesite Cheviot Volcano, Lower Devonian
Short, not hard, but ok for a bumble around.
